The “Sternen” prides itself in being open 365 days per year - which is definitely appreciated on Sundays, as it gets harder and harder these days to find an open restaurant during lunchtime. My friend and I were there for the second time, but the last time around is already a while back, we remembered it was good but the details eluded us.
There’s quite a selection of possible supplements; we both opted for the salad, as I was quite hungry I’ve ordered also an additional portion of fries.
The salad was beautifully arranged, the fries were fantastic and the Cordon Bleu itself overall very good. I’m not quite sure if they had a special Greyerzer variant or prepared it a bit different from what I’m used to, but the cheese was fantastic. Small minus-point: The meat (and the breading) where in some places almost a bit too dry, but the fantastic portion of cheese made more than up for it.
